Bingham Wapentake

Bingham era un wapentake (equivalente a un centenar ) del histórico condado de Nottinghamshire , Inglaterra. Estaba situado en el sureste del condado, al sur del río Trent .

El lugar de reunión original estaba en la cresta de Toot Hill, al oeste de Bingham. ^{[ 1 ]} El wapentake abarcaba las parroquias de Adbolton , Aslockton , Bingham , Car Colston , Clipston on the Wolds , Colston Bassett , Cotgrave , Cropwell Bishop , Cropwell Butler , East Bridgford , Elton , Flintham , Gamston , Granby , Hawksworth , Hickling , Holme Pierrepont , Kinoulton , Kneeton , Langar cum Barnstone , Lodge on the Wolds , Normanton-on-the-Wolds , Orston , Owthorpe , Plumtree , Radcliffe on Trent , Saxondale , Scarrington , Screveton , Shelford , Thoroton , Tithby , Tollerton , Upper Broughton , West Bridgford , Whatton y Wiverton Hall .

Dentro de ella se encontraban las partes orientales del actual municipio de Rushcliffe y las partes occidentales del Valle de Belvoir . Su importancia residual se perdió con la introducción de los distritos bajo la Ley de Gobierno Local de 1894 .
