Johann Georg Ebeling (8 de julio de 1637 - 4 de diciembre de 1676) fue un compositor alemán nacido en Lüneburg y fallecido en Stettin . Ebeling es conocido por ser editor y compositor de himnos de Paul Gerhardt . En 1667 publicó 120 canciones de Gerhardt, añadiendo nuevas melodías a muchas de ellas, componiendo la primera melodía para 26, ^{[ 1 ]} incluyendo " Die güldne Sonne voll Freud und Wonne " y " Du meine Seele singe ". Varias de sus cantatas se conservan.
