Geothelphusa

Geothelphusa es un género de cangrejos de agua dulce asiáticos , establecido por W. Stimpson en 1858. ^{[ 1 ]}

Un estudio sobre las especies de Geothelphusa del norte de Taiwán y las islas Yaeyama sugiere que su especiación probablemente fue impulsada por cambios climáticos durante el Pleistoceno, con dos clados principales que divergieron hace unos 5,3 millones de años (Shih et al., 2011).
