Harry Pepl

Harry Pepl (10 de septiembre de 1945 – 5 de diciembre de 2005) fue un guitarrista y compositor de jazz austriaco nacido en Viena . ^{[ 1 ]}

Biografía

Pepl estudió guitarra clásica en la Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien . Orientó su preferencia musical hacia el jazz y, junto con Werner Pirchner, debutó como "Pirchner-Pepl-JazzZwio", formación que se amplió parcialmente con Adelhard Roidinger como bajista del trío. También tocó con una serie de famosos músicos de jazz, como Benny Goodman , Dave Holland , Enrico Rava , Wolfgang Puschnig , Steve Swallow , Jack DeJohnette y Michel Portal , así como con la Vienna Art Orchestra .
