Miss Tourism World

Miss Tourism World was initially established as an international beauty pageant in 1991 in Great Britain. The organization was acquired by David Singh in 2008. Due to various factors, the pageant was not held in the following years: 1993, 1996, 1998–1999, 2004, 2006, 2008–2011, 2016–2017, and 2020–2021.^[1]

During the most recent edition of MTW, Erina Hanawa from Japan was crowned Miss Tourism World 2022 on 10 December in Vĩnh Phúc province, Vietnam. This makes her the second Japanese woman to win the title.^[3]

In 2009, the Miss Tourism Queen International pageant was established in China. Over the years, it has undergone several name changes, including Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International (2011–2010), Miss City Tourism Champion (2016), Miss Tourism World - Global (2017–2019, 2023), and Miss Tourism World - Intercontinental (2019).

The most recent competition, Miss Tourism World - Global 2025, was held in Changde, China, on 2 October. The title of Miss Tourism World - Global 2025 was awarded to Karolina Piksa from the Poland.^[4]

El certamen Miss Turismo Mundo incluye títulos como Miss Turismo Mundo África, Asia, América, Europa y Oceanía. Las concursantes participan en segmentos como desfiles en traje de noche, traje de baño y trajes típicos. El certamen Miss Turismo Mundo se ha celebrado en cuatro continentes, lo que permite a las participantes competir tanto por el título general como por sus respectivas coronas continentales.
