Sarang Khan Gakhar ( punjabi : سارنگ خان گکھڑ ) fue un jefe musulmán punjabi del clan Gakhar . Se convirtió en jefe en 1520 después de la muerte de Hathi Khan, y fue reconocido en su cargo por el emperador mogol Babur . [ 1 ]

Sarang Khan se negó a reconocer la usurpación del poder por parte de Suri sobre Humayun y murió luchando contra Sher Shah Suri en el fuerte de Rawat en 1541 junto con 16 de sus hijos. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ] [ 6 ]
