Thatcher on Acid fue una banda inglesa de anarcopunk . [ 1 ] Se formaron en Somerset durante 1983. [ 2 ] Su nombre es una referencia satírica a la ex primera ministra británica Margaret Thatcher . [ 3 ] Ben Corrigan, Bob Butler y Andy Tuck también tocaron en Schwartzeneggar con el ex miembro de Crass , Steve Ignorant . [ 4 ] La banda abrió el concierto "Gathering of the 5000" de la banda de anarcopunk Conflict en la Brixton Academy , [ 2 ] un evento que resultó en muchos arrestos y alcanzó cierto grado de infamia. [ 5 ]

El bajista Bob Butler murió en 2022. [ 6 ]
