United Records fue una compañía discográfica y sello estadounidense fundado en Chicago por Leonard Allen y Lew Simpkins en 1951. ^{[ 1 ]}

United publicó discos de artistas como Tab Smith , Jimmy Forrest , Gene Ammons , Memphis Slim , Roosevelt Sykes , The Four Blazes , The Moroccos, Robert Anderson y The Staple Singers .

En mayo de 1952, United se unió a su sello hermano, States . United lanzó 116 sencillos en una serie que abarcó del 101 al 217, omitiendo los números 135 y 200. La compañía también lanzó dos LP de 10 pulgadas, pero nunca llegó a producir LP de 12 pulgadas. Tab Smith fue el principal colaborador de United. Grabó 85 temas, lanzando 24 sencillos (una quinta parte de la producción total de la compañía) y el primer LP de United.

Tras el cierre de la compañía en 1957, Savoy compró las grabaciones originales de Gene Ammons y los Staple Singers. El resto de la producción de United fue adquirida posteriormente por Bob Koester de Delmark Records , que ha puesto a disposición la mayor parte del público mediante reediciones en LP y CD. ^{[ 2 ]}
