William H. Dutton

William H. Dutton es exdirector del Oxford Internet Institute , profesor de Estudios de Internet en la Universidad de Oxford y miembro del Balliol College . También es catedrático del Departamento de Medios e Información de la Universidad Estatal de Michigan , donde es profesor de Política de Medios e Información de la Cátedra Quello. ^[1] Anteriormente fue profesor en la Escuela Annenberg de Comunicación de la Universidad del Sur de California , a la que se incorporó en 1980, donde fue elegido presidente de la facultad.

William H. Dutton ha escrito varios libros sobre las implicaciones sociales de la informática y las telecomunicaciones , como Internet, entre ellos: Social Transformation in an Information Society (UNESCO 2004); Society on the Line: Information Politics in the Digital Age (Oxford, 1999); Modeling as Negotiating: The Political Dynamics of Computer Models in the Policy Process (Ablex, 1985); y Computers and Politics (Oxford, 1982).
