Wood Newton

Wood Newton (nacido el 16 de septiembre de 1946 en Hampton, Arkansas , Estados Unidos) es un compositor y músico estadounidense radicado en Nashville, Tennessee . ^{[ 1 ]} Newton nació en Hampton, Arkansas , y se graduó de la escuela secundaria Hampton High School en Hampton, Arkansas, en 1964. Se graduó de la Universidad de Arkansas en 1970.

En 1978 y 1979, Newton grabó para Elektra Records , colocando en las listas los sencillos "Last Exit for Love", "Lock, Stock & Barrel" y "Julie (Do I Ever Cross Your Mind?)". ^{[ 2 ]} Posteriormente se convirtió en compositor para otros artistas, y entre sus créditos se incluye el sencillo número uno de Razzy Bailey , " Midnight Hauler ".
