El Premio Faraday Lectureship , anteriormente conocido simplemente como Faraday Lectureship , es otorgado una vez cada dos años (aproximadamente) por la Royal Society of Chemistry por "contribuciones excepcionales a la química física o teórica". [1] Bautizada en honor a Michael Faraday , la primera Conferencia Faraday fue impartida en 1869, dos años después de la muerte de Faraday, por Jean-Baptiste Dumas . [2] En 2009, el premio tenía un valor de £5000, y el destinatario también recibía una medalla y un certificado. [1] Como sugiere el nombre, el destinatario también da una conferencia pública en la que describe su trabajo.
