The Sound of Musicals fue una miniserie de cuatro partes de la BBC de 2006 protagonizada por varios actores de teatro musical y cantantes profesionalesque interpretaban números de diferentes musicales. Cada semana, al elenco habitual se unía un presentador invitado famoso que también interpretaba sus canciones favoritas. El programa también incluía entrevistas con personalidades del teatro musical como Andrew Lloyd Webber y Cameron Mackintosh .

Se emitió semanalmente (todos los sábados) durante cuatro semanas, a partir del sábado 14 de enero de 2006.

Rodaje

Cada parte del programa fue filmada frente a una audiencia en vivo durante el otoño de 2005. Las fechas de filmación son las siguientes: 30 de septiembre, 2 de octubre, 4 y 6 de octubre.
