Esta es una lista incompleta de humanos y ángeles que la Iglesia Católica ha canonizado como santos . La teología católica sostiene que todos los santos gozan de la visión beatífica . Muchos aparecen en el Calendario Romano General ; otros están registrados en el Martirologio Romano ; [ 1 ] y otros pertenecen a iglesias locales o institutos religiosos particulares , con un reconocimiento que no se extiende a la Iglesia universal. El proceso de canonización de la Iglesia Católica se desarrolla en cuatro etapas sucesivas. Las dos primeras, Siervo de Dios y Venerable , son etapas de investigación en las que se examinan la vida y las virtudes del candidato; las dos últimas, Beato y Santo , representan la proclamación formal por parte de la Iglesia. Martyrs of Natal

The Martyrs of Natal were a group of 30 Brazilian Catholics - two of them priests - killed in northern Brazil by a group of Dutch Calvinists in 1645. They were canonized on 15 October 2017 by Pope Francis.[362] Those that were killed on 16 July 1645 were:

Martyr Saints of China

The Martyr Saints of China were a group of 87 Chinese Catholics and 33 Western missionaries martyred from 1648 to 1930 because of their faith. They were canonized on 1 October 2000 by Pope John Paul II.[363] They are:
