
Este artículo es una lista de especies biológicas , subespecies y unidades evolutivamente significativas que se sabe que se extinguieron durante el Holoceno , la época geológica actual , ordenadas según su fecha de desaparición conocida o aproximada, desde la más antigua hasta la más reciente.
Se considera que el Holoceno comenzó con el retroceso glacial del Holoceno hace aproximadamente 11 650 años ( aprox . 9700 a. C. ).
